Hi, my name is Kim Hathaway. I am a certified personal computer repair technician. I have worked on or with computers extensively for over twenty five years. I went back to college in 2004 to receive a formal education in computer technology. I now have degrees in computer integrated electronics, computer service technology, and computer information systems.

After graduating I secured a position with a large company in their IT department. Then the economy took a turn and many people were laid off... including me. I often thought how much I might enjoy having my own business. For fun, I have always worked on and maintained computers for friends, family, and people in my community and really enjoy it. What always made me hesitate was the fact that I'm not really interested in the "business" side of things.

Then I remembered my best friend Kim Perkins (Kasee) loves the "business" side of things. Kasee just happened to be in college studying business management and accounting. So after tossing the idea around we agreed, "Let's do it!"... Kim's Computer Care was born! In the process of creating and operating Kim's Computer Care there have been many decisions to make; from business hours to logo design. Being equal partner's means we have discussed, debated, and compromised to agree on these decisions. However, from the beginning we agreed on the fundamentals. We both want to provide the kind of service we would like for ourselves, our friends and our family's. So, our mission statement was easy to agree on.
